Confirmation of Eligibility
By signing this form, I confirm that:
  • I meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Official Contest Rules.
  • The submitted design is my original work.
  • The design does not contain copyrighted materials, trademarks, stock graphics, or imagery owned by another individual or organization.
  • The design has not been previously published or submitted in another competition.
Agreement to Contest Rules

I confirm that I have read and agree to abide by the Official Contest Rules for the Tay Township Community Logo Design Contest.

Copyright Transfer
If my design is chosen by Council as the winning logo:
  • I agree to transfer all copyright, ownership, and usage rights of the logo to The Corporation of the Township of Tay.
  • I understand that the Township will have full and exclusive rights to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and distribute the logo in any format or medium.
  • I acknowledge that the Township may refine or modify the design, including engaging a professional graphic designer to enhance quality, accessibility, and usability.
  • I understand that I will receive only the stated contest prize and no additional compensation.
Selecting the winning design
I understand and agree that:
  • The decision of Council is final.
  • Council reserves the right not to select a winning design.
Public Recognition
If my submission is selected, I consent to:
  • The release of my name publicly in connection with the winning design.
  • The use of my name and likeness for promotional or recognition purposes related to the contest.
Participation

I understand that I am participating in this contest voluntarily and that the Township is not responsible for any claims related to my participation.

Notice of Collection/Use/Disclosure: Personal information is collected in this submission form pursuant to Section 8 and 11 of the Municipal Act and will be used for the purpose of the Community Logo Design Contest. Review and Selection Process: To ensure a fair process, each eligible design will be assigned a number and reviewed without names attached. Submissions will be reviewed by the Township’s Senior Leadership Team using established evaluation criteria (see full details in the Offical Contest Rules). Up to five (5) shortlisted designs will be presented to Council. Council will make the final decision. The Township reserves the right not to select a winning design if submissions do not meet the established standards.
